Annually, we shortlist twenty recipients and select one to receive the High Performing Educator Award. Inspired by Michael Loudfoot – the educator that changed Sam’s life – this award was created to recognize and celebrate exceptional educators.
A High Performing Educator is…
A High Performing Educator is someone with a true curiosity for life and the lessons they impart on young people. Their passion is seen and felt by everyone who comes in contact with them and leaves a lasting impact on the students who pass through their programs.
This educator redefines what it means to be ‘involved’ and gives back to the community by leveraging their unique gifts and talents for the benefit of others. Some coach sports teams, lead associations or school clubs, advise the student council or volunteer their time with local organizations.
A High Performing Educator cares and it’s obvious because they take the time to get to know every student and staff member they meet. You’re better off for meeting one of these educators and will never forget them.
Award Information
All 20 shortlisted recipients of this award will be:
- Featured in the local press
- Invited to record an interview on the High Performing Educator Podcast
- Spotlighted in the 2022 High Performing Educator Award Recipient Article
In addition to the above, the one High Performing Educator Award Winner will be:
- Presented with the High Performing Educator Award from Sam in person. He will fly to the winner’s city and present them with an engraved plaque.
- Asked to participate in a quick photoshoot and in-depth interview on location.
Nominations
Nominations for the 2022 High Performing Educator Award open on Jan 1st, 2022 and close October 1st, 2022.
All twenty shortlisted receipts will be notified and contacted shortly thereafter. The one award winner will be contacted personally by Sam to arrange the flight, interview and photoshoot.
